Position Overview:

We’re looking for a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Senior Video Editor to join our in-house content team. This role will help own the post-production of long-form content across our flagship YouTube channels while shaping the overall style, pacing, and quality of our video output. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating engaging long-form content, a strong foundation in the technical side of editing, and a genuine enthusiasm for sports media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the editing of long-form content (YouTube episodes, vlogs, event recaps).
  • Organize and manage video footage, assets, and project files across multiple shoots.
  • Collaborate with producers, videographers, and creative leads to execute the vision of each video.
  • Apply motion graphics, sound design, music, color correction, and visual effects to enhance production value.
  • Optimize videos for pacing, engagement, and retention in line with YouTube algorithms.
  • Stay current on sports culture, YouTube content trends, and evolving editing techniques.
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and mentorship to junior editors and freelancers as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional editing experience for sports broadcast, YouTube, or social media platforms (long-form experience required).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition is a plus.
  • Strong instincts for storytelling, pacing, comedic timing, and audience retention.
  • Exceptional organization skills for media and project management
  • Proven understanding of YouTube content strategy, analytics, and optimization.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sports content, especially for Golf

  • A passion for golf and a strong knowledge of the sport and the landscape of YouTube Golf
  • YouTube expertise, especially any experience creating thumbnails and writing titles for videos.
  • Experience repurposing content across social platforms.
