Chatterbox Speech and Language Clinic is a trusted provider of speech and language therapy services for children and adults. Our dedicated team works to help clients build confidence and communication skills in a supportive, family-centered environment. As our clinic grows, we are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our administrative team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our records.
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining essential clinic data. This includes patient records, scheduling information, billing details, and other administrative documents. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and committed to handling sensitive information with confidentiality and care.
Accurately enter and update client and appointment information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Maintain and organize digital records, including treatment logs, insurance information, and billing data
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct as needed
Ensure all data is entered in compliance with clinic procedures and HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure records are current and complete
Generate reports and summaries for internal use when requested
Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining both digital and physical documentation
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role (preferred)
Strong computer and typing skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Experience with EMR or healthcare software systems is an asset
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
